Join Our Care Team
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants w/Medication Certification (CNA-Ms) to join our team. CNA-Ms are assigned to a specific care area, which may includememory care, long-term care, or skilled nursing, depending on the position.
Position Summary
The CNA-M is a valued member of the nursing team responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities and providing routine nursing care in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan. In addition to performing traditional CNA duties, the CNA-M is responsible for the safe administration of medications in accordance with state regulations and facility policies. This role supports residents in a designated care setting while promoting dignity, comfort, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Administer medications accurately and safely under the direction of a licensed nurse, following all applicable policies and regulations
Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Deliver care in accordance with individualized care plans and established nursing standards
Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to the nursing team
Support residents’ independence, preferences, and dignity while maintaining safety
Assist with positioning, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
Communicate effectively with nurses, team members, residents, and families
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
Document care provided according to facility policies
Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols
Requirements
Active and in-good-standing certification on the Maine CNA Registry
Proof of Medication Certification
Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, residents, families, and supervisors
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Basic computer skills

Days and Evenings
Every other weekend required
