F & P Forages LLC Agricultural Equipment Operator in Audubon, Minnesota

Hours: 50 hours/week, Mon.-Fri. 9 hours/day, Sat. 5 hours/day, 7:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

F & P Forages farms approximately 4000 acres of alfalfa hay, wheat and corn. Most of machine and building maintenance is done in house. We need seasonal employee to assist with all aspects of growing these crops. Employees will need to operate tractors, payloaders, farm trucks, and miscellaneous farm equipment. Employees will perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, buildings, and property. Employee must be a team player with strong communication skills with a good work ethic. Complete general farm duties as assigned. No commercial truck driving is required.

Worker must be available and willing to work the entire season.

Employer will conduct post-hire random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination.

Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background.

Minimum Education Required

No High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience Required

Three (3) months of experience relevant to the job is required.

Worker must have a valid Class D Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within thirty (30) days of hire.

Worker must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds.

Worker must be able to perform work that requires extensive walking, and repetitive movements.

Additional Compensation

The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.

As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.

Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
