ETEL Transformers Tendering & Project Coordinator Lead in Auckland, New Zealand

We're looking for a proactive Tendering & Project Coordinator Lead to join our Sales & Marketing team. You will take ownership of the preparation and coordination of major tenders, commercial proposals, and related project‑coordination activities. This role is critical in ensuring ETEL continues to deliver competitive, high‑quality, compliant tender submissions that reflect our engineering capability, operational readiness, and industry expertise.

You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders, can interpret complex technical requirements, and want to drive continuous improvement in how we deliver tenders, quotations, and project handovers.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and coordinate major tender submissions from end to end

  • Support project coordination activities including documentation flow, stakeholder alignment, and milestone tracking

  • Review technical and commercial requirements and pull the right people together

  • Compile high‑quality tender documentation, drawings, pricing inputs, supplier information, and internal approvals

  • Provide accurate quotations and support Sales Managers with commercial preparation

  • Build strong relationships across Engineering, Sales, Finance, Logistics, Planning & suppliers

  • Support smooth transitions from tender award into project execution

  • Drive improvements to tendering and project‑coordination processes, tools, and documentation

What you'll bring:

  • 3–5 years' experience in tendering, estimating, bid management, or project coordination

  • Strong technical understanding of electrical distribution equipment and industry standards

  • Exceptionally high attention to detail with strong analytical capability

  • Skilled with Excel, costing models, ERP systems, and tendering platforms

  • Confident communicator able to coordinate multiple stakeholders under time pressure

  • A continuous improvement mindset and a structured, calm approach during peak workloads
