TEKsystems Network Administrator in Auburndale, Florida
Description
Job Description: Provides daily operations support and maintenance for server, storage, and network systems, verifies and maintains backup systems to provide efficient disaster recovery as well as day-to-day folder and file restores. Capable of maintaining and administering virtual servers in VMWare and Hyper-V environments. Proactively monitors and keeps server systems updated and free from vulnerabilities. Supports Qualys vulnerability scanning and works with the TP-OIT security team to mitigate vulnerabilities. Configures and maintains District Group Policies to meet Department standards. Ability to assist in network configuration tasks to include all aspects of the OSI Model Layers 1 through 3. Travel required. Duties and Responsibilities: • Skilled in the planning, forecasting, implementing, and identifying resource requirements for server systems of moderate complexity. • Skilled at identifying needs for various software systems running in a virtual environment. • Must have the ability to perform capacity and resource planning, assessing risks, and contingency planning. • Must be able to research, plan and implement software service rollouts to users. • Responsible for Microsoft Active Directory Services in a Windows server 2016-2019 environment. Responsible for documenting solutions to Technology issues and processes. • Participate in team projects, meetings, and assignments • Must be experienced in managing users, groups, OUs, objects, and GPO. • Responsible for configuring and managing DNS, DHCP, DFS, Certificates, and DC Replication. • Must have experience with PowerShell scripting in an Active Directory environment. • Responsible for securing a Microsoft Active Directory Windows 2012 – 2016 environment. • Should have experience complying with Payment Card Industry technology standards. • Responsible for reading and following the Department’s Procedures and Policies • Responsible for understanding and enforcing the Department’s Policies and Procedures • Responsible for traveling to remote sites to resolve IT-related issues and deploy resources • Responsible for tracking incidents in the service desk ticketing systems • Responsible for creating/tracking Property Management Reports (PMRs) for IT equipment transfers/relocation • Perform other duties as assigned • Ability to lift to 50 pounds

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
