Job Description
Join a world-class leader in designing and manufacturing aerospace structures, systems, and components for a variety of aerospace customers, including commercial, business, regional, and military sectors. As an Assembler, you will be integral in performing pre-assembly tasks, such as drilling and deburring parts, and assembling component parts by installing ground studs, attaching nut plates, or bonding. You will also utilize hand and pneumatic tools, measuring tools like micrometers and calipers, as well as engage in riveting and countersinking. All necessary skills will be taught, and we welcome candidates with a mechanical experience and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
Perform pre-assembly tasks such as drilling and deburring parts.
Assemble component parts by installing ground studs, attaching nut plates, or bonding.
Utilize hand and pneumatic tools, and measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Engage in riveting and countersinking tasks.
Work from aerospace blueprints and schematics.
Essential Skills
1-2 years of experience in sheet metal assembly.
Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience in riveting and countersinking.
Capability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude, including experience with hand/power tools.
Prior aerospace assembly experience is preferred.
Sheet metal experience is a plus.
Ability to read and understand work instructions and blueprints.
Effective communication skills.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean manufacturing shop where steel and sheet metal are used to create parts for aerospace applications. The facility can be heavy and loud at times, but it is well-organized. The shift typically runs from 6:30am to 3:00pm, with occasional shifts starting at 5:00am or 5:30am. Saturdays are voluntary workdays, while the plant is closed on Sundays. New hires begin their training with a 7:00am start time during their first weekexp

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
