Aerospace Assembler
Role Overview
Join a leading aerospace manufacturer known for producing precision-built structures, components, and systems for major aviation customers. As an Assembler, you’ll work hands-on building high‑quality parts by drilling, fitting, bonding, and installing hardware. This position is well‑suited for individuals who enjoy mechanical work, take pride in accuracy, and are eager to grow their skills in a highly technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare parts for assembly by drilling, deburring, and finishing surfaces.
Install hardware such as nut plates, ground studs, and other fasteners to complete component assemblies.
Operate pneumatic and hand tools to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently.
Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other gauging tools.
Rivet, countersink, and assemble sheet metal parts according to specifications.
Interpret and follow aerospace drawings, work instructions, and engineering schematics.
Shift:
6:30AM - 3:00PM Monday - Friday. Occasional earlier start times (as early as 5:00 AM). Saturday overtime is optional, and the facility remains closed on Sundays.
Required Skills & Experience
1–2 years of experience in sheet metal or mechanical assembly.
Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and basic measurement practices.
Ability to read and understand technical blueprints.
Knowledge of riveting, countersinking, and related fabrication techniques.
Strong hands-on aptitude with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in aerospace production or component assembly.
Mechanical experience with familiarity using height gauges, shim gauges, or precision measuring tools.
Clear communication skills and reliability in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to follow written instructions, technical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to take on new challenges.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean, organized aerospace manufacturing facility that specializes in steel and sheet metal components. The shop can be loud at times due to machinery but maintains a structured and professional atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
