Power-Flo Technologies Panel Technician Helper in Auburn, New York
Salary Range: $16.00 To $18.00 Hourly
Power-Flo Technologies is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual for a Panel Technician Helper position at our Auburn location.
Monday - Friday. 7 AM - 3:30 PM.

Panel Technician Helper Primary Functions
Assist with the building and wiring of custom industrial control panels as well as OEM products. Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times.
Panel Technician Helper Essential Responsibilities include assisting with the following:
Build Custom Industrial Panels and OEM products meeting delivery dates
Work independently with the project folder and design schematics to complete your responsible job.
Account for parts required for the job
Mechanically layout and mount hardware components.
Wire complete panel in accordance with PFT panel procedures, UL508A specifications, and other best practices as given by the panel shop supervisor.
In large project situations work with other technicians in a team effort
Test Custom Industrial Control Panels and OEM Products
Point to Point wire tests in accordance with PFT testing procedures
Torque check and marking in accordance with PFT procedures
Be able to perform and fill out the PFT Panel Final Check list
Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times
Organize and maintain shop tools and equipment
Organize and maintain personal tools
Organize and maintain your project items and materials
Help maintain common shop supplies IE Labels, wire ties, wire, etc.
Panel Technician Helper Necessary Qualifications
Basic Knowledge of Electrical Theory
BOCES Electrical or AS in an Electrical Technology Field preferred
Must be able to follow and understand the PFT Shop Guidelines
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
Ability to work with other Technicians and Apprentices in a professional manor
Competent with the use of hand tools, i.e. jigsaw, drills, wrenches, screwdrivers
Competent with the use of electrical test equipment, i.e. Multi meter
Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles
Physical Requirements
Ability to Stand for 8 Hours
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work on elevated platforms
Ability to climb ladders
Salary Range: $16 - $18/hour + benefits
