Adecco US, Inc. Machine Shop Supervisor in Auburn, New York
Adecco is recruiting for a Machine Shop Supervisor for a client in the Auburn, NY area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing company with flexible pay depending on experience.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong CNC machining experience who enjoys being involved on the floor while also helping guide a team and keep operations running smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day machine shop operations and production workflow
Support CNC machine setups, troubleshooting, and process improvement
Ensure quality standards are met through involvement in QC/QA processes
Provide guidance, direction, and accountability for shop employees
Assist with scheduling, prioritization, and meeting production goals
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Work hands-on in the shop as needed to support production
Qualifications
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a machine shop required
Strong CNC machining background (setup experience preferred)
Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on in daily operations
Experience with quality standards, troubleshooting, and shop workflow
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
