Licensed Radiologic Technician
Conducts a variety of radiological examinations/observations of population under the prescription and sometimes personal direction of a radiologist, roentgenologist, or other physician to assist in developing clinical information. Reads/Interprets requests of physicians concerning radiological examination procedures to determine what procedures are to be undertaken. Operates radiologic equipment by setting controls and making required adjustments using guidelines and standard procedures as directed by physicians.
lso performs office support and clerical work to meet requirements of radiology department.
In addition to pay rate there is an additional hazard pay that is paid quarterly
