Basic Job Functions:
Planned projects are listed, but not limited to: Develop a thorough and comprehensive understanding of industrial safety. Work alongside Nucor Electrician performing preventive and corrective maintenance Develop a comprehensive understanding of the various control systems throughout the Rolling Mill & Melt shop Data collection for Arc Flash studies and CMMS implementation

Minimum Qualifications:
Participation in a course of study in Electrical Technology or equivalent GPA of 3.0 or better in Electrical Courses Written recommendation from advisor Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of a safety course(s) Practical work experience
