Qualified Landscape Laborer
Job Duties: Position offered is for an experienced landscape laborer with a minimum of three (3) months job related experience who is able to work with and model company methods and procedures with up to 3 peers, with duties to include mowing, weed trimming, and raking or clean-up of leaves with blowers. Also, installation, pruning, and trimming of plants, trees, and shrubs from the ground. Placing and tilling dirt, mulch, compost, and sod. General landscape labor using landscape equipment for landscape installation and maintenance.mowing, weed trimming, and raking or clean-up of leaves with blowers. Loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Lifting required up to 50 pounds. Work performed on local area jobsites with employer provided transportation to and from the jobsites from a centralized pick-up location in the specified area of employment.
Three (3) months experience required. On-the-job training provided. No education required.
\$18.52 - \$20.50/hr. Wage range based on experience and performance. \$27.78 - \$30.75/hr. O.T. Employer will offer 40 hours of work with a 1 hr. lunch each workday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., M-F, Some O.T. and weekends may be available, but are not guaranteed.
4 positions available for temporary, full-time, peak load work.
Dates of Employment Offered: 4/1/2026 - 11/30/2026.
Jobsites located in: Shawnee, Wabaunsee, Riley, Jackson, Jefferson, Pottawatomie, Douglas, and Osage Counties. Transportation is provided to and from area worksites at employers expense from a centralized pick-up location in the specified area of employment.

The employer will use a single workweek for computing wages due. Pay will be bi-weekly.
Assistance securing lodging is available. Optional Low-Cost Housing, not including utilities, is available for relocating workers only, for approximately \$275 per month to be paid by payroll deductions.
Other benefits provided to U.S. and H2B workers are the following: Optional pay advances are available as needed for relocating workers only upon arrival. A vehicle may be provided, but not guaranteed, for relocating workers only to run errands during their time off, and not to be taken outside city limits; Workers pay for their own gas and insurance.
The employer will make all deductions required by law from each paycheck.
Additional deductions include: If selected there will be Bi-weekly deductions of about \$137.50 for optional low-cost housing, and repayment of any pay advances taken will be deducted the following payday.
If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of \$68.00 per day with receipts.
H2B workers will be reimbursed by check or visa and related fees in the first workweek.
The employer will provide, without charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties.
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
