Our client, a global automotive manufacturing company , is seeking a Technical Training Author / Instructional Designer to join their team. As a Technical Training Author / Instructional Designer , you will be part of the Technical Training / Learning & Development organization supporting Automotive Technician Training Programs . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, instructional creativity, and technical aptitude , which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: 53.79 per hour
What’s the Job?
Develop end-to-end automotive technical training in multiple formats including ILT, eLearning (Articulate Storyline & Rise 360), microlearning, job aids, and digital courses
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather technical content and translate it into effective learning solutions
Create storyboards, scripts, and highly interactive learning experiences (simulations, drag-and-drops, layered graphics)
Capture photos and reference images onsite in the vehicle garage as needed
Incorporate feedback, revise content iteratively, and continuously improve training effectiveness
What’s Needed?
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in instructional design or technical training
Master-level proficiency in Articulate Storyline with a portfolio demonstrating interactive work
Ability to conduct SME interviews and document technical content accurately
Technical aptitude (automotive, mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing background preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset
