ManpowerGroup Quality Engineer in Auburn Hills, Michigan
Our client, an automotive supplier, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a vital part of the quality assurance department, you will support continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326
Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000 + 5% Bonus
*Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder Only*
What's the Job?
Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries and quality-related issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Evaluate and audit suppliers to verify compliance with quality standards and collaborate on improvement initiatives.
Support ongoing serial production by implementing and monitoring quality checks aligned with design and manufacturing processes.
Analyze warranty data from OEMs to identify trends, address issues, and prepare dispute documentation as needed.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IATF 16949, and prepare comprehensive quality reports for management review.
What's Needed?
1-5 years of relevant experience in quality engineering within the automotive industry (supplier- not OEM)
Knowledge of quality management systems, including IATF 16949, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies (preferred).
Hands-on experience with PPAP documentation and submission processes, preferably with OEM systems like GM, Stellantis, or Ford.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
