Job Summary:

This key leadership position is a pivotal role within American Rheinmetall Vehicles focusing on the successful delivery of the critical Bradley Damage Assessment Repair (BDAR) program. The PM leads BDAR in the planning, coordination, and execution of programs to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Manages day-to-day program activities, track performance metrics, coordinates with internal teams and external stakeholders, and assists in resolving program risks and issues.

*Position is located in Auburn Hills, MI with travel to Poland as required.

Essential Functions:

  • Plan, organize, and execute program activities.

  • Support the development and maintenance of program schedules, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, finance, and supply chain to ensure program objectives are met.

  • Track program performance and provide regular status updates, reports, and briefings to leadership.

  • Monitor risks, issues, and action items and support mitigation strategies.

  • Support customer and stakeholder communications, including preparation of briefings and meeting materials.

  • Manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.

  • Maintain program documentation, including schedules, reports, and contractual deliverables.

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up actions.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and regulatory standards.

  • Travel as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Yes, leadership within the BDAR team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the US DoD process and procedures for vehicle development and procurement.

  • Familiarity with the US Army TACOM/ and GVSC.

  • Practical ‘hands on’ attitude with the ability to operate independently.

  • Detailed knowledge of Military Standards and Regulations.

Education & Experience

  • BSc in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, Vehicle Technology, Systems Engineering or equivalent work experience

Background Prerequisites:

  • Minimum of 10 Years’ Experience in delivering large complex US Defense programs, preferably in vehicle domain from start to serial production

  • Experience in working in a multi-national, multi-organizational and corporate environment.

  • Experience in capture, bid contract negotiations, and planning delivery.

  • Experience with i.e. program management tools such as Earned Value Management, DELTEK Suite of Program Management Tools, MS Project, SAP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to speak Poland is desired

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
