Job Description: EVS Attendant is to provide excellent guest service and create a safe and friendly environment for employees and guests while establishing and maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas in the Casino and public areas.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Sweeps and removes all wrappers, broken glass, ashtrays, and debris from the floor Cleans and dusts slot machines, including areas between machines, doors, and woodwork Cleans slot chairs, polishes their bases, and then returns chairs to the proper position Vacuums entire assigned stations, moving chairs and other objects to ensure thorough cleaning Removes trash, replaces missing ashtrays, wipes out and cleans all ashtrays and trash cans
The Ideal Candidate: Preferred 6+ months of prior relevant general cleaning experience Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Ability to work safely, including understanding and following company safety policies and procedures Completing work in a safe manner, caring about the safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms Can handle multiple tasks at one time Performs other job-related duties as requested Requires proof of eligibility to work in the United States
