Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Threat Management Technical Sales SME to join our team and drive strategic customer engagements around IBM QRadar, Next-Generation Security, and AI-powered threat management solutions. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives at the intersection of technical expertise, sales strategy, and customer advocacy.
You will work closely with our sales team to lead technical presentations, deliver compelling demos, and guide customers through complex security solution decisions—including QRadar adoption or migration to Palo Alto platforms.
Some travel will be required, you will need to be at clients site or at IBM office 3 days per week.
Required technical and professional expertise
Serve as the technical subject matter expert for QRadar and related threat management solutions.
Deliver engaging presentations and live demos tailored to customer needs and business outcomes.
Lead strategic discussions with clients around threat detection, response, and AI-powered security transformation.
Support sales cycles by aligning technical capabilities with customer pain points and business goals.

Collaborate with sellers to position QRadar effectively or guide migration strategies to Palo Alto. * Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in threat management and AI security.
- Assist in RFP responses, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Proven experience with IBM QRadar from both a technical and sales perspective.
Strong understanding of SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms.
Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks security offerings and migration strategies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or security consulting.
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams.
Passion for AI-driven security innovation and next-gen threat management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
