PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates, compiles, analyzes, and distributesaccurateandtimelyinformation to prepare and file documents related to telephony regulatory matters and compliance functions.
Assistswith preparation and filing of revisions to regulatory documents.
Preparescorrespondence and responsive materials to third parties and regulatory authorities.
Testsbasic tax mapping scenarios within the CLA tax lab and/or client’s tax engines to ensureappropriateand expected tax results.
Supportstesting and implementing systems and/or process changes to add increased efficiencies or conformancewithtax rules.
Reviewsjurisdictionlawspertaining toexemptions andvalidateforms provided by client’s customers to ensure good faith standards are met to indemnify client from tax liability.
Contributesto the development of requirements for new and existing client projects.
Understandsand worksto resolve general customer issues.
Participatesin other operational and strategic projects orduties asassigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldrequired– Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred .
General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
Willingness to learnnew technologies.
Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
