Fresenius Medical Care Sr. Physician Services Manager in Atlanta, Georgia
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Acts as a subject matter expert in physician services contracting. Works on problems of diverse scope within Physician Services department, inclusive of physician contract administration and operational financial analysis. Supports FMCNA's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages physician contract processes and ensures requirements are met including contract development, modeling, negotiation, and administration of agreements.
Oversees operational analytics for FPS physician practices, including provider compensation, provider productivity, and operational financial and quality analytics.
Strategic (business operations) rationale and justification
Administers the negotiation of physician employment agreements, including prepares compensation analysis, supporting documentation, drafting agreements, and initiating negotiations with support from Senior Director, Regional Operations Director, and VP. Liaise between FPS leadership, physicians, and attorneys.
Facilitates the evaluation and resolution of employment related topics including but not limited to H1B and J-1 visas. Liaise with internal and external parties to support the facilitation of any requirements and resolution.
Oversees the physician employment agreement profit share compensation reporting, communication, and adherence with contractual terms in partnership with regional operational leadership.
Administers the terms and conditions of all FPS medical director agreements, ensuring appropriate identification of re-openers, supporting financial modeling, timely negotiation of opportunities, and communication with key leadership and stakeholders.
Provides monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reporting associated with clinical key performance indicators for both financial and quality performance.
Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
5 - 8 years' related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 5+ years working with physicians
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service skills, relationship development, results oriented, and decision making skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to influence
