Honeywell Sr IT Analyst - SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management in Atlanta, Georgia
The Senior IT Analyst is a seasoned functional IT professional responsible for end‑to‑end ownership of SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management capabilities, with deep expertise in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Inventory Management (IM).
This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and IT stakeholders to design, configure, deploy, and support warehouse solutions across global distribution and manufacturing environments. The analyst will play a critical role in S/4 deployments, rollouts, and transformations, ensuring fit‑to‑standard solutions, operational stability, and measurable business outcomes.
You will report to our Sr IT Director and work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid basis. Note: for the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Solution Ownership & Delivery
Own the end‑to‑end functional responsibility for SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management (WM/EWM) solutions, including inbound, outbound, internal movements, inventory visibility, and warehouse execution.
Lead fit‑to‑standard (FTS) workshops and translate business requirements into solution blueprints, functional design documents (FDDs), and configuration.
Configure and deploy SAP S/4 WM/EWM capabilities leveraging standard functionality and SAP Fiori apps, minimizing custom development.
Support full lifecycle S/4 deployments, including blueprint, realization, testing, cutover, go‑live, and hypercare.
Deployment, Testing & Cutover
Drive and support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and defect resolution for warehouse processes.
Partner with Data, Integration, and Technical teams to ensure accurate data migration, interface readiness, and stable integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
Actively participate in cutover planning and execution, ensuring warehouse operations are fully supported during go‑live.
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
Provide production support for warehouse processes, including root cause analysis, incident resolution, and system stabilization.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency through process optimization, automation, and advanced S/4/EWM capabilities.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise warehouse classification, inventory visibility, and reporting standards.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
Serve as a trusted IT partner to Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, and Business Process Owners.
Collaborate with architects, developers, and integration teams to ensure solutions meet functional and technical standards.
Provide functional guidance and oversight to junior analysts or external partners as needed.
YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years of SAP functional experience, with strong hands‑on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management (WM/EWM).
Proven experience delivering at least one full SAP S/4HANA deployment or major rollout, with direct involvement in design through go‑live.
Deep understanding of warehouse processes, including goods receipt, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.
Experience with SAP Fiori warehouse and inventory apps, warehouse monitoring, and operational reporting.
Strong ability to translate business needs into clear functional designs and system configurations.
Experience working in global, complex warehouse environments (distribution centers, manufacturing plants, or service centers).
Solid understanding of integration touchpoints with MM, SD, TM, and external logistics systems.
WE VALUE
Experience with SAP EWM embedded in S/4HANA.
Exposure to warehouse reporting and analytics, including standard S/4 and EWM operational reporting.
Prior experience in large‑scale ERP transformation or global template programs.
SAP S/4HANA or EWM certification.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently with end-to-end accountability while collaborating effectively in large program teams.
Strong documentation, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities.
