Senior Sales Manager, Construction Operations & Estimating Software
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to join our team. As our Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales colleagues who specialize in selling construction operations and estimating software solutions to our Sage customers and construction companies. As a Senior Sales Manager, your primary goal will be to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth by effectively implementing sales strategies and tactics.
This is a hybrid office role that meets 3 days a week in a Sage office in the USA
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and team success.
• Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and networking within the construction industry.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling sales materials, presentations, and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our construction operations and estimating software solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for business growth and competitive advantage.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring to the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions to clients.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of SaaS sales experience in the Construction industry
• Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on selling software solutions in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including operations and estimating processes.
• Familiarity with construction operations and estimating software solutions is highly desirable.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Results-oriented mindset with a strong drive for achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
• Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
