Cognizant Senior POS Solution Delivery Manager with Rollout Leader.- Retail in Atlanta, Georgia
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior POS Solution Delivery Manager with Rollout Leader to join our team.
Experience: 15+ years of overall IT experience, with 6+ years in Retail POS / Store Systems architecture, and rollout experience.
Location: Atlanta, Georgia onsite (Monday – Friday)
Role Summary: The Senior POS Solution Delivery Manager – Rollout Leader is accountable for end‑to‑end leadership, governance, and execution of the Oracle Fusion replacement program across retail stores, including both company‑owned and independently owned locations.
This role serves as the single point of accountability for store rollout success, bridging business leadership, corporate IT, Oracle Fusion product teams, infrastructure partners, and rollout execution teams. The leader ensures the rollout is scalable, secure, operationally stable, and delivered on schedule, while minimizing store disruption across a multi‑year, multi‑thousand‑store deployment.
Key Responsibilities : Rollout Leadership & Governance
• Provide overall leadership for the POS store rollout program, ensuring all rollout
activities, dependencies, and communications are completed, and stores are
installed according to the approved rollout schedule.
• Establish and enforce rollout governance, including stage gates, go/no‑go decision
points, risk management, escalation paths, and executive reporting.
• Act as the primary escalation owner for rollout issues impacting schedule, store
readiness, or operational stability.
Architecture & Scaling Strategy
• Define and own the end‑to‑end POS technical rollout architecture for scaling
deployment across approximately 5,400+ stores, including:
· Infrastructure and cloud considerations
· Store hardware, network, and peripheral readiness
· Integration touchpoints and dependencies
Execution Oversight
• Provide direct oversight of all rollout managers, workstreams, and vendor partners to ensure consistent execution against plan.
• Monitor rollout progress, risks, and metrics across waves, regions, and store groups; proactively address issues before they impact go‑live dates.
• Partner closely with corporate leadership, product owners, Oracle Fusion teams, IT delivery teams, rollout managers, and business stakeholders to align priorities and resolve constraints.
• Drive clear, consistent communication across all levels—from store operations to executive leadership.
Core Technical Skills: • Retail POS application development, deployment, and support
• Large‑scale POS rollout and transformation experience (thousands of stores)
• Cloud and infrastructure understanding (Google cloud experience strongly preferred)
• Oversight of cloud‑based development and deployment teams
• Strong understanding of store systems, integrations, and operational dependencies

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
