System One Operations Manager (Industrial Scaffolding Projects) in Atlanta, Georgia
System One is seeking an experienced Operations Manager with our client to manage projects in Ft. Lauderdale-area operations and oversee a growing team delivering critical access and safety solutions for construction projects.
This position offers a full relocation package to Florida.
This role combines leadership, logistics, and technical problem solving. The ideal candidate will manage a 7–10-person team, oversee equipment and project execution, coordinate scaffold and access system installations, and serve as the primary escalation point for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Team Leadership
Lead and manage a 7- 10-person team, including 2 field supervisors, yard manager, admin staff, and 4/5 Forman.
Coordinate labor, schedules, and resources across multiple active job sites
Manage scheduling
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards
Support workforce planning, training, and development of field team members
Equipment & Logistics Management
Oversee inventory, staging, and maintenance of scaffolding and access equipment
Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of equipment between yard locations and job sites
Manage yard operations, equipment tracking, and material utilization
Ensure the right equipment is available to meet project schedules and customer demands
Technical & Design Coordination
Work with internal engineering teams to review and implement scaffold and access system design
Ensure field teams execute installations according to engineered plans
Address design challenges, field changes, and site constraints with engineers and customers
Provide practical solutions for complex jobsite access requirements
Customer & Project Management
Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues related to scheduling, installation, or design
Maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, and jobsite leadership
Participate in project planning meetings when necessary
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and responsiveness
Financial & Business Management
Managing rental equipment
Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and grow business with existing customers

Temporary Fencing
Personnel & Material (Buck) Hoists

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in scaffolding, access systems, or construction services
Experience managing field operations or construction crews
Working knowledge of scaffold systems and installation practices
Experience coordinating equipment logistics and inventory
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working with mast climbers, swing stages, or hoist systems
Experience reviewing or working with engineered scaffold drawings
