Overview
The Chick-fil-A Restaurant Payroll Services Department provides payroll services and support for Chick-fil-A franchised and Company Operated Restaurants (COR). Additionally, the team delivers end-to-end payroll processing, operational support, and strategic oversight for COR. This professional-level role leads domestic and international payroll processing for the COR entity, restaurant transitions, and late or expedited payroll submissions. The role proactively identifies trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities across the payroll ecosystem, translating complex payroll activity into clear, actionable insights and updates for leadership and end users.
Responsibilities
Lead Company Operated Restaurant (COR) Processing to include:
Domestic COR Bi-Weekly & Weekly Restaurant Processing
International COR Submissions
Monthly Operator Transition related processing
Late Payroll Submissions & Expedited Processing Support.
Create the payroll processing strategy across COR restaurants by identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities within domestic, international, and transition payroll activity
Establish clear, repeatable leadership updates on COR payroll performance, exceptions, expedited activity, and emerging risks into simple, timely status communications
Proactively identify and recommend enhancements and change opportunities for current processes for internal and 3rd party systems
Represent a holistic understanding of the Restaurant Payroll Ecosystem to effectively articulate wins, risks, trade-offs, and timelines to end users
Provide Restaurant Payroll Services support for assigned group of restaurants
Execute on Restaurant Cash Management & Payroll Services Plan and communicate status to leadership; participate and contribute to team planning and budgeting; manage relationships with internal and external subject matter experts
Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

Payroll experience
