We are looking for Manager, Inside Sales and Service. This position will be based in either Atlanta GA or Raleigh NC.
You’ll make a difference with:
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop a team of three Sales Support Professionals responsible for the end‑to‑end sales order lifecycle.
Allocate workload, set priorities, and ensure compliance with service‑level expectations and internal controls.
Establish standard work practices, drive cross‑training, and promote a continuous improvement mindset across order management and contract administration activities.
Provide escalation support and remove roadblocks related to customer issues, contract topics, logistics challenges, and system/process inefficiencies.
Coordinate alignment with Customer Support, Order Management, Logistics, Finance, and Project Management to ensure clear communication and seamless execution.
Inside Sales
Own the inside‑sales process from lead qualification through opportunity handoff to the field sales team.
Respond to inbound customer inquiries, provide basic technical and commercial information, and convert interest into qualified opportunities.
Contract & Order Management Oversight
Oversee the validation of sales orders against purchase orders, proposals, pricing agreements, and contract terms.
Ensure timely and accurate entry, scheduling, billing readiness, and invoice coordination.
Monitor contract performance across the lifecycle—documentation, change orders, shipment milestones, risks, and warranty topics.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy, speed, and customer experience.
Cross‑Functional Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary interface between Sales Support, Inside Sales, and operational functions (Finance, Logistics, Product Management, Project Management).
Support leadership reporting on order metrics, backlog, forecast updates, pipeline quality, and customer responsiveness.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, supply chain, marketing, or related field.
5+ years’ experience in sales support, contract administration, order management, or inside sales roles.
2+ years of experience with the following:
Leading teams or supervising operational workflows.
Using SAP, Salesforce, and related CRM or ERP platforms.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within Siemens or a comparable global industrial/technology organization.
Strong professional judgement, analytical capability, and structured problem‑solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate contract terms, order status, and commercial requirements clearly and confidently.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and process rigor.
Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency.
