Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will start your day by attending a shift meeting to discuss the plans and priorities for the day. You will be assigned a list of preventive maintenance tasks to complete and be responsible for responding promptly to calls from the production team. Typically, you will complete 3-4 preventive maintenance tasks daily.
Responsibilities
Attend shift meetings to discuss daily plans.
Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
Respond quickly to production team calls.
Perform maintenance on conveyors, bearings, shafts, and sprockets.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using a multimeter.
Work with 480v motors and understand PLCs and VFDs.
Perform welding tasks as needed.
Maintain equipment in compliance with GMP standards.
Essential Skills
Mechanical strength and basic understanding of electrical systems.
Experience with conveyor maintenance.
Ability to use a multimeter and wire 480v motors.
Understanding of PLCs and VFDs functionality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
Bilingual abilities are advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in an industrial setting with openings on the second and 3rd shifts. Shifts are Monday through Saturday with rotations, requiring work on a Saturday or Sunday three times a month. The position will eventually transition to 12-hour shifts, 4 days on and 3 days off, with Sundays always off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
