Looking for a valuable internship experience with a global leader? UPS has the opportunity for you! UPS is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Intern with a focus in data analytics to support the daily operations and shared goals of the HR Department.
The HR Internship Program prepares the next generation of HR professionals for success through hands-on analytics-driven work , skill development, networking opportunities, mentorship, and exposure to various HR business functions. Interns will take ownership of meaningful, high-impact projects that leverage data insights to solve real business challenges, culminating in Capstone project presentations to the Human Resource Leadership Team (HRLT) at the conclusion of the internship.

The internship is located at UPS Global Headquarters in Atlanta, GA , and candidates must be willing to relocate or work in the job location for the duration of the internship.
Responsibilities and Duties
Develops data-informed solutions and a clear path forward for real business needs
Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis, synthesizing insights to support the capstone project
Utilizes HR, workforce, or business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Produces clear and compelling deliverables, including executive-ready presentations and dashboards
Assists in the development, evaluation, and improvement of HR processes and practices
Partners with key stakeholders to gather requirements, validate findings, and refine recommendations
Ensures alignment with company, business unit, and stakeholder long-term strategies
Participates in training, development, and intern networking events
Engages with mentors to navigate UPS and explore career development opportunities
Encourages diversity of thought, experience, and ideas
Presents final capstone project and data-backed recommendations to HR leadership
Knowledge and Skills
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret findings, and communicate insights
Experience with data visualization, dashboards, or reporting tools (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis); Power BI or similar tools a plus
Solid research, organizational, and project management skills
Comfortable working with ambiguity and applying structured problem-solving approaches
High level of initiative, accountability, and results orientation
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning
Basic Qualifications
Must be a student currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program, or graduated from a degreed college/university program within the last 24 months
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to work in or relocate to the job location for the duration of the internship
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or recent graduate with coursework in Human Resources, Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
