How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Delta Professional Services (DPS) is seeking a Copywriter who excels at crafting clear, compelling, and brand-aligned messaging for a wide range of audiences including employees, clients, and business partners. This role will support communications, training development, marketing content, and digital projects while maintaining the voice and standards of the DPS brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Write and edit copy for internal communications, training materials, presentations, marketing campaigns, websites, social content, and executive messaging.
Collaborate with creative, instructional design, and operations teams to ensure messaging aligns with project goals and audience needs.
Translate technical or complex information into accessible, engaging language.
Create narrative scripts for video content, eLearning modules, and multimedia storytelling.
Ensure brand voice consistency across all content.
Conduct research to support accurate, informed writing.
Review and proofread content for grammar, tone, clarity, and compliance with DPS guidelines.
Assist in developing messaging frameworks, taglines, and communication strategies.
This role works on an "as needed" basis, this is a part-time position.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of professional writing experience.
Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of writing styles (corporate, technical, marketing, creative).
Excellent grammar, attention to detail, and ability to write for diverse audiences.
Proven ability to adapt voice and tone to brand guidelines.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Experience in aviation, training development, or corporate communications.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content strategy.
Experience writing scripts or content for multimedia and eLearning.
