Join our dynamic Field Service (FSE) organization, where youwill travel to power plants across the U.S. and play a crucial role inmaintaining and upgrading some of the largest and most powerful electricalgeneration machinery in the world, including gas turbines, steam turbines, andgenerators. This program serves as your entry point into our world-class fieldservice team, offering you the chance to learn and grow in a fast-pacedenvironment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Completecomprehensive 12 month classroom and lab training in Orlando, includinghands-on experience with expert engineers at various customer sites acrossthe U.S.
Developessential skills in equipment operation, maintenance, job site safety,project management, leadership, and Siemens Energy’s business systemsalongside our leading FSE staff.
Supervisetechnicians and mechanics during power plant maintenance shutdowns,addressing both planned and unplanned maintenance outages due to equipmentperformance issues.
Disassemble,inspect, and reassemble turbines and generators, ensuring optimalperformance and reliability.
Collaboratewith our global engineering team to conduct specialized mechanical andelectrical testing, serving as the primary customer contact during outagesto ensure timely and accurate repairs.
What You Bring
A highschool diploma or equivalent experience is required, with 5+ years ofdemonstrated technical leadership in power plant or facilities maintenanceand operations; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Apassion for solving complex mechanical problems using both your intellectand hands, while working closely with a team and customers to deliverexceptional service.
Aself-starting leader who effectively utilizes available resources tocreate innovative solutions for challenging mechanical issues.
Willingnessto travel extensively, with FSEs typically working up to 250 days per yearfor periods ranging from 2 to 15 weeks at a time.
Abilityto work extended hours of up to 12-14 hours per day, including weekendsand holidays, with a typical work week ranging from 60-84 hours. Youshould also be physically capable of ascending/descending ladders,examining equipment in confined spaces, and lifting boxes weighing up to40 pounds.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in theUnited States without need for current or future employer-sponsored workauthorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may beeligible for internal transfers.
This role may be based in various locations across theUnited States. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits,including paid time off and holiday pay. For positions based inthe United States, the base salary range is $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually,and the annual incentive target is from 0% to insert 10% of the base salary.
