Insight Global Cable Installation Technician in Atlanta, Georgia
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a technically skilled professional to design and install in‑building broadband networks, including the equipment used to transmit high‑speed data across multi‑tenant residential and commercial properties. This role involves working with coax, twisted‑pair copper, and fiber‑optic cabling, as well as complex network and switching equipment. The ideal candidate will coordinate and manage new in‑building network installations, evaluate properties to determine compatibility with various broadband systems, and support large‑scale build projects by ensuring proper planning and on‑time implementation. Responsibilities also include producing technical documentation to assess build feasibility for candidate properties and providing ad‑hoc operational support to local field engineering and sales teams as needed.

Skills and Requirements
--5+ years of experience with hands-on running fiber, ethernet & coax cabling in MDUs (Multiple dwelling units)
-- General knowledge & experience with the design and install of in-building network architectures
-- General work area hazard identification & prevention
-- Frontline experience with working with customer/clients
-- Hands-on experience working on ladders (step/extension/folding) -- Knowledge & experience with Google Suite and other computer and mobility-based applications
