Capgemini Business Analyst - Insurance & Reinsurance Financial Systems in Atlanta, Georgia
About the job:
This role supports the delivery of complex insurance and reinsurance financial systems initiatives by translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements. The Business Analyst works closely with Finance, Underwriting, IT, Compliance, Operations, and external vendors to support implementations involving ceded reinsurance platforms, bordereau processing workflows, specialty carrier accounting systems, and enterprise financial integrations, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, governance standards, and regulatory expectations.
What you will do at Sogeti:
Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for insurance and reinsurance financial systems, including ceded reinsurance, premium and loss accounting, and bordereau processing workflows.
Partner with Finance, Underwriting, Compliance, Operations, and IT teams to translate complex financial and reinsurance processes into detailed requirements, user stories, process flows, and data mappings.
Support system design, configuration, and integration activities by clarifying requirements, validating assumptions, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and design reviews with business stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams to drive consensus and solution clarity.
Support testing efforts by defining acceptance criteria, reviewing test cases, executing UAT activities, and validating that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
Assist with change management, training materials, and user readiness activities to support successful adoption of new financial systems and processes.
What you will bring:
Direct experience as a Business Analyst supporting insurance or reinsurance financial systems, including ceded reinsurance, specialty carrier accounting, and/or bordereau processing workflows.
Proven ability to elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements for complex financial systems within regulated insurance or reinsurance environments.
Strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance financial processes, with the ability to translate underwriting, finance, and accounting workflows into clear system requirements.
Demonstrated experience partnering cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Underwriting, Compliance, and Operations teams to support system implementations.
Experience supporting system testing and UAT for insurance or reinsurance financial platforms, including defining acceptance criteria and validating business outcomes.
Education:
- Bachelor-s or Master-s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $120,000 - $140,000.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
