Trinity Health ED Unit Secretary in Athens, Georgia

Description:

Unit Secretary -Full-time - Nights - Emergency Department - St. May's Hospital, Athens, GA

Position Requirements : Must have knowledge of medical terminology, must be self-motivated, & be able to exercise sound judgment in response to inquiries by patients & visitors. Must be able to prioritize tasks efficiently, concentrate on tasks being performed, & be adaptable to change. Must be able to multi task. Must be able to perform duties quickly & accurately. Must be computer literate.

A: Licensure/Certification/Registration : None.

B. Education: High School graduation required.

C: Experience: None.

Special Qualifications: Must be able to get along w/ patients, public, & other health care workers. Must have pleasant voice & use good phone manners. Must have neat appearance & conform to dress code. Must be able to admit when wrong, but have self-confidence. Must act in professional manner at all times.

III. Degree of Supervision Required: Supervised by Emergency Dept. Charge Nurse.
