The opportunity

Responsible as Commercial Quality Head of Norway, in alignment with business unit, in order to ensure products are efficiently distributed in Norway by meeting Teva, regional and local quality requirements and customer needs.

Act as a primary Quality contact person who communicates to National Competent Authority; NoMA.

Manage the quality management system in Norway.

Be the Commercial Quality business partner of the General Manager in the country or its delegate.

  • This position is based in Norway for a duration of 1 year ideally from April 2026

How you’ll spend your day

Business & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Build and maintain a strong national Quality network.

  • Lead regular Quality Management meetings with commercial, regulatory, supply chain, and PV teams.

People & Performance Management

  • Lead and develop the Commercial Quality team.

  • Manage annual objectives aligned with Commercial Quality strategy and manage performance, compensation, and budgeting activities.

  • Ensure clear delegation plans and consistent team communication.

Support to Teva’s Quality Strategy

  • Drive execution of sub-regional projects and contribute to regional Quality initiatives.

Local QMS Deployment (Norway/Nordics)

  • Ensure full GDP compliance and promote a strong quality culture.

  • Maintain SOPs/WIs, oversee GDP training, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Lead local Quality Management Reviews and contribute to European Quality Councils.

  • Provide monthly metrics and GxP compliance oversight.

Operational Quality Execution

  • Oversee market release, distribution GDP compliance, and product traceability.

  • Manage FMD alerts and ensure proper complaint and recall processes, including authority communication.

  • Act as the MAH contact for product defects and recalls.

  • Ensure compliant change control, deviations, CAPAs, supplier oversight, subcontracting, and drug shortage management.

Quality Incident & Authority Management

  • Escalate critical quality issues and implement action plans locally.

  • Ensure inspection readiness, host inspections, manage CAPAs, and oversee self-inspections.

Your experience and qualifications

• Advanced scientific background

Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, or a closely related field — or equivalent proven expertise aligned with the responsibilities of the role.

• Solid Quality leadership experience

Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience as a Quality Manager, QP, or RP within a pharmaceutical company, wholesaler, or importer/distributor.

• Strong regulatory acumen

Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply national regulatory requirements with confidence and precision.

• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical Quality Compliance

Robust knowledge of industry standards, Quality systems, and compliance expectations across the product lifecycle.

• Operational awareness

Practical insight into pharmaceutical operations and how cross‑functional processes impact GxP compliance.

• Expert command of GxP frameworks

In‑depth understanding of GDP/GMP and other relevant GxPs, enabling effective oversight and decision‑making.

• Proven Quality System builder

Experience designing, implementing, and improving Quality Management Systems, including risk assessment methodologies and continuous improvement tools.

• Digital fluency

Strong proficiency with modern software tools, including the full Microsoft Office suite.

• Strong communicator in a Nordic environment

Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language — with Norwegian strongly preferred.
