BAY AREA RURAL TRANSIT Dispatcher in ASHLAND, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a Dispatcher with customer service experience to join our team. You will be responsible for scheduling rides for passengers, providing information regarding our services, communicating with the drivers, pass sales, farebox counting plus other duties. We offer paid training and a flexible work schedule. Responsibilites Prepare daily run schedules Handle customer inquiries, pass sales, scheduling trips provide information regarding the service, including locations and times Document and update customer records Farebox management Assist drivers with requests Record and track ridership Assist with daily, weekly and quarterly route reports Qualifications Experience in customer service is preferred knowledge of calculators, computers and related software Ability to prioritize and multitask positive and professional demeanor excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with Microsoft office suite Detail orientated ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Good health, clean driving record, calculators, computers and related software, two way-radios. Computer knowledge and Microsoft office products.
