Senior Engineer- Control Systems
Working from Monday to Friday, in two shifts and Friday 6,5h.
The Senior Engineer assists with all aspects of machine maintenance, trouble shooting and breakdowns. They proactively manage engineers with regard to the scheduling of preventative maintenance, ensuring the productive execution of required maintenance during down time, focusing on supporting the continued smooth running of operations.
RESPONSABILITIES
As a Senior Engineer you would be responsible
Proactively develop knowledge of manufacturing and production packing processes, filling and finishing techniques and industrialisation processes.
• Collect and analyse data, ensuring it is used to support day-to-day work.
• Provide technical / functional expertise in their specific area of engineering when required.
• Collect and analyse data to determine strategies and influence improvements in ways of working.
• Ensure robust and effective Risk Assessment protocols in line with company standards and processes. Maintenance and GMP
• Take an active part in team meetings to determine and agree consistent working methods. •
Take responsibility for reporting defective components and assist with or undertake root cause investigations when requested.
• Assist with machine risk assessment review programme for all assets.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained as per scheduled plan and new equipment/tooling guaranteeing all products are produced to meet the required quality specification.
• Work with the New Product Development team, Cell Managers, and Process Engineers to support the introduction of new products, helping to identify new equipment and tooling requirements to ensure product quality, costs, and launch dates are achieved.
• Support work to ensure equipment/parts standardisation.
• Manages day to day allocation of tasks to shift engineers, ensuring prioritisation of work and completion against schedule.
• Effectively manage maintenance to maximise productivity and reduce downtime.
• Manage tooling requirements for new product launches. Continuous Improvement
• Identify productivity and cost saving opportunities, and support capital projects.
• Seek out and share new innovative technologies to fulfil the requirements of the site.
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
Technical Academical Background
At least 5 years of experience as a Manteinance Engineer or similar role in a continous production process (filling and packaging machinery knowledge needed)
Good knowledge and understanding of PLC Siemens and Omron software language
