Medical Front Desk Specialist - Patient Services Location: Hendersonville and Columbus Pay: $18.00-$18.50/hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
A well-established, patient-centered medical practice in Hendersonville and Columbus is seeking a dependable and personable Medical Front Desk Specialist to join its team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences from the very first interaction. Must have the flexibility to commute between both offices in Hendersonville and Columbus area.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive check-in and check-out experience
- Verify insurance coverage and accurately process patient documentation
- Schedule appointments and coordinate provider calendars efficiently
- Maintain a smooth and organized front desk flow while delivering outstanding customer service
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical front desk or similar healthcare administrative role required
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Demonstrated reliability with a consistent and stable work history
