Job Summary and Qualifications
The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility in accordance with departmental and hospital policy. Will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
What you will do in this role:
Adhere to safety and sanitation policies
Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen
Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions
Focus on patient experience and follow all patient experience standards
Collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement
Manage service recovery as needed.
Participate in training with senior housekeepers to further develop/advance within the industry.
Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste
Performs other duties as assigned
Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement”
What qualifications you will need:
High School Graduate\Equivalent preferred
1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred
1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred
