Job Summary and Qualifications

The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility in accordance with departmental and hospital policy. Will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What you will do in this role:

  • Adhere to safety and sanitation policies

  • Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen

  • Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time

  • Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions

  • Focus on patient experience and follow all patient experience standards

  • Collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement

  • Manage service recovery as needed.

  • Participate in training with senior housekeepers to further develop/advance within the industry.

  • Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement”

What qualifications you will need:

  • High School Graduate\Equivalent preferred

  • 1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred

  • 1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred
