Job Title: Pipelayer
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Pipelayer to join our team, focusing on trenching, pipe laying, and stormwater management. This role requires hands-on work with excavations and leveling earth to grade specifications.
Responsibilities
Pipe ditches or trenches and backfill excavations.
Shovel and rake asphalt as needed.
Compact and level earth to grade specifications using picks, shovels, and pneumatic tampers.
Perform pipe laying and trench digging.
Manage stormwater systems effectively.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and interpret Cut Sheets.
Experience with pipe laying and trench digging.
Proficiency in using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and other relevant tools.

Work Environment
The work is conducted in various locations across Northern Virginia, including Federal projects, educational facilities, data centers, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and apartments. While core business hours are maintained, some projects, especially federal ones, may require night shifts. Flexibility with work hours is important.

This is a Contract position based out of Ashburn, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
