Job Description
Oracle is seeking an IC3 Data Center Facilities Engineer to provide onsite support for a first-of-kind large scale liquid-to-air (L2A) cooled CDU data center deployment. This role focuses on hands-on operations, maintenance execution, and incident response for Oracle-owned data center infrastructure, supporting operations teams and established programs.
This is an operations-focused facility engineering role within a mission-critical data center environment, with primary responsibilities in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance support across liquid cooling, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite operational support for Oracle-owned liquid cooling infrastructure
Support L2A cooling/CDU systems and associated mechanical and electrical equipment
Perform routine inspections, monitoring, and first-level troubleshooting
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities under established procedures
Support coolant/glycol testing and reporting programs
Update and maintain CMMS work orders, asset records, and maintenance logs
Follow runbooks and operating procedures (normal and emergency)
Support vendor onsite activities and maintenance visits
Assist with spare parts tracking and inventory control
Escalate abnormal conditions and incidents per defined escalation matrix
Support Data Center Operations with facilities-related technical issues
Adhere to site safety policies, and established operational standards
Required Qualifications
Experience in data center facilities, critical infrastructure, or industrial plant operations
Mechanical/HVAC/Liquid cooling experience
Working knowledge of mechanical cooling and/or electrical distribution systems
Experience performing maintenance or technical field service work
Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems
Ability to follow technical procedures and operational runbooks
Ability to support shift-based coverage in a mission-critical environment
Demonstrated understanding of OSHA and NFPA-aligned safe work practices applicable to data center facilities operations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc-flash hazard awareness, and electrical safety
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to liquid cooling or CDU systems
Data center facility operations experience
Trade certification, technical degree, or equivalent field experience
Experience working with vendors and service providers onsite

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
