Asbury Tower is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join our team!
Asbury Tower is a Springpoint Senior Living affordable housing community, located in Asbury Park, NJ. We are seeking a full-time Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. At Springpoint, the Maintenance Supervisor Responsible is responsible for the maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, elevator, grounds, carpentry, and other physical components of the community to provide an attractive, comfortable and safe environment for the residents and staff, and management of security staff.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and control the activities of the Maintenance Department under the guidelines of the Director of Facilities.
Assist in plans for improving work methods and schedules.
Assist in directing training programs and demonstrating new equipment and methods. Provide on-the-job training.
Monitor and inspect employee work performance to ensure standards are maintained through the use of computer reports.
Assist in evaluating new products and supplies.
Assign and distribute work to staff.
Establish and coordinate employee work schedules to assure necessary staff coverage.
Assist in employee Corrective Plan of Action, and/or MRD.
Resolve complaints as required.
Assist in oversees 3 maintenance assistants.
Responsible for work order requests and turning over apartments upon move out.
Education and Experience:
High school Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 3 years maintenance and mechanic experience
Supervisory experience preferred
