Position Overview
Legrand’s Kratos business is seeking a collaborative and forward-thinkingSr.Director of Operationsto lead end-to-end operational performance across our manufacturing and supply chain footprint. This leadership role supports a rapidly scaling engineered-to-order business focused on low- and medium-voltage switchgear. As a member of our senior leadership team, you will partner across Engineering, Project Management, Sales, Finance, and Product to strengthen operational capabilities and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery.
What Will You Do
Lead operational performance across Supply Chain & Logistics, Fabrication, Assembly, and Quality.
Develop and execute long-range manufacturing and supply chain strategies.
Translate enterprise strategy into clear, actionable operating plans.
Establish metrics and routines that support predictable execution.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance flow, throughput, quality, and cost.
Guide procurement and supply chain operations to support material availability.
Build a resilient and diverse supplier network.
Optimize inventory, material flow, and working capital.
Ensure environmental, health, and safety performance across facilities.
Lead quality systems and support ISO 9001 certification.
Strengthen built-in quality practices to enhance first-pass yield.
Build, develop, and empower a high-performing operations leadership team.
Promote adoption of ERP tools and data-driven decision-making.
Represent Operations in executive discussions and cross-functional planning.
Compensation: $190,000 - $205,000 per year

Qualifications

Experienced in multi-site operations leadership, ideally in engineered-to-order or project-based manufacturing.
Adept at balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.
A clear communicator who collaborates naturally across functions.
A systems thinker who identifies trends and drives sustainable improvements.
Committed to inclusive leadership, coaching, and team development.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
