Full job description
This role is ideal for someone with advanced soldering expertise and a strong background in assembling precision electronic components in a high-reliability environment.
What You'll Do
- Precision Soldering: Perform expert-level SMT, through-hole, and fine-pitch soldering that meets IPC-A-610 Class II/III standards.
- Assembly Work: Build electronic and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies using engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
- Cable & Harness Fabrication: Crimp, route, and assemble complex wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
- Quality Control: Conduct in-process and final inspections, identify defects, and perform rework when necessary.
- Testing: Assist with basic functional testing using multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
- Documentation: Accurately document materials used, time spent, and inspection results.
What You Bring
- 3--5 years of professional electronic assembly experience (medical device experience a plus).
- Advanced fine-pitch soldering proficiency and familiarity with rework tools (e.g., hot air stations).
- Ability to interpret detailed schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- IPC-A-610 Certification strongly preferred.
