Pay scale : For CDL A Drivers pay is $30.25/Hr to $35.25/Hr depending on hazmat experience Pay scale : For CDL B Drivers pay is $29.75/Hr to $34.75/Hr depending on hazmat experience Pay scale: Drivers without hazmat CDL experience pay is $29.75/Hr. for CDL B Drivers and $30.25/Hr. for CDL A Drivers. Pay: If someone is hired without a hazmat endorsement, pay will not increase once obtaining this endorsement. Monday-Friday schedule with the occasional weekend We start work in the morning and end in the late afternoon Referral bonus: $1250 Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet. Most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology and GPS navigation. This position loads, unloads, delivers, and returns compressed gas cylinders while frequently interacting with Airgas customers. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Load and unload their truck daily with gas cylinders & supplies Maintain courteous & professional relationships with customers Make deliveries in a timely manner Safely strap and unstrap cylinders Make deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart, emphasis is given to the physical nature of this position being labor intensive. Required Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years Must be able to work in a drug-free environment Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment Preferred Qualifications: Forklift experience
