Actalent Technical Program Product Manager II in Arlington, Virginia

Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our Event Content team within the Marketing organization. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between the internal engineering team, the Content team, and session speakers to ensure the delivery of engaging technical sessions events.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact between the internal service team, Event Content team, and event speakers, communicating guidelines, changes, requirements, and concerns.

  • Coordinate the integration and deployment of the hands-on session platform for technical sessions events.

  • Manage the end-to-end workflow for interactive sessions from planning through execution.

  • Translate technical requirements and constraints between engineering teams and content stakeholders.

  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless session delivery for speakers and attendees.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and communications for event speakers.

  • Monitor session performance and gather feedback to inform product enhancements.

Skills:

  • 3-7 years of experience in technical program management or product management.

  • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, especially the generative AI tech stack.

  • A degree in computer science or related field, or significant experience in technical product management.

  • Proven ability to earn trust with diverse stakeholders across both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Experience working successfully with engineering teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with events or similar large-scale technical conferences.

  • Familiarity with content management systems and hands-on learning platforms.

  • Certifications, such as Cloud Practitioner or AI Practitioner Certification.

  • Familiarity with Airtable or strong skills in other database or spreadsheet application systems like Excel or MySQL.

Work Environment:

Work in an onsite, collaborative team environment, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Expect approximately 5% travel to support key events. The role involves fast-paced, milestone-driven delivery cycles aligned to event timelines, with daily interaction with engineering teams, content owners, and technical presenters.

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $64.00/hr.
