You will have an opportunity to work across the entire Leo organization implementing and managing various controls along side Leo Security. Leo security owns policy and definition of controls, and this role owns the coordination, development, implementation, and change management of controls as well as managing defects and improvements.
Key job responsibilities
Own end-to-end program management for large-scale, multi-team security initiatives from inception through delivery and post-launch review
Define program scope, goals, milestones, and success metrics in partnership with engineering, product, and business stakeholders
Identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers across program workstreams
Drive alignment across engineering teams, leadership, and external partners through clear communication, structured escalation paths, and regular program reviews
Lead cross-functional working groups and facilitate technical decision-making processes
Translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives for non-technical audiences
Influence roadmap prioritization and resource allocation decisions at the team and org level
About the team
The Amazon Leo Security Controls and Assurance team owns a variety of security fields for regulated productivity environments including security architecture, incident response, threat hunting, compliance, and security tool management.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
Experience managing security control programs and implementation of security controls across various systems (e.g. FedRAMP, CMMC, ISO)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
