Amazon Principal Product Manager, Voice of Community in Arlington, Virginia
Description
The Voice of Community (VoComm) team part of Community Operations enables the community to have an ”empty chair“ in the room as a reminder that we start from them and work backwards. We earn the trust of the community by amplifying their voice, transforming it into actionable insights, and building products that empower Amazonians to innovate on behalf of the customer.
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager who is excited about making a difference in our communities. In this role, you will be the strategic driver behind how we listen to, understand, and act on community insights across our product portfolio. You will champion a "Community as Customer" mindset throughout the organization while building products and frameworks that amplify the voice of our community in every product decision we make. You will develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives but will also be willing to roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Roadmap
Develop and articulate a compelling short-term and long-term product vision for Voice of Community initiatives that aligns with company objectives
Build and maintain a cross-product roadmap that integrates community feedback mechanisms across all product lines
Define success metrics and KPIs that measure the impact of community-driven product development
Executive Stakeholder Management
Build and nurture strong relationships with Directors, Vice Presidents, and other senior leaders across the organization
Present strategic recommendations and product proposals to executive leadership
Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders around Voice of Community priorities
Product Adoption & Evangelism
Drive adoption of Voice of Community products, tools, and methodologies across user teams
Create compelling narratives and business cases that demonstrate the value of community insights
Develop training programs and enablement materials to empower teams to leverage community feedback
Track and communicate adoption metrics, success stories, and ROI to stakeholders
Community as Customer Mindset
Champion and embed a "Community as Customer" philosophy throughout the product organization
Establish best practices, frameworks, and playbooks for incorporating user feedback into product development
Partner with research, data science, and analytics teams to build robust community listening capabilities
Foster a culture of community empathy and customer-centricity across all teams
Cross-Functional Leadership
Mentor and guide product managers on community-centric product development approaches
Represent the voice of the community in cross organization reviews, planning sessions, and strategic discussions
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
10+ years of end to end product delivery experience
Experience in data analysis and leveraging analytics to make decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
