Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level 3) for the PAC-3 Munitions Acceleration team. Our team is responsible for the successful execution of a large ramp‑to‑rate effort with a heavy focus on supporting proposals, collaborating on make‑where decisions, and driving tooling from identifying the need to delivery and prove‑out.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level 3) you will be responsible for supporting proposals and coordinating the identification, design, procurement, delivery, and prove‑out of PAC‑3 tooling.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Generate Tangible Item Lists (TILs) and labor estimates to enable make‑where and make‑split decisions
Plan budgets and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) activities, and coordinate make‑site efforts
Write Tooling Action Requests (TARs), develop tooling Statements of Work (SOWs), and manage priorities for design, fabrication, and prove‑out
Consolidate complex tooling status data into actionable insight for leadership and USG customers
Drive cross‑site and supplier collaboration to ensure timely delivery and successful verification of tooling

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Ability to travel domestic and/or international
• Experience supporting the design and fabrication of manufacturing tooling
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance
Desired Skills:
• SAP application experience
• Windchill / MPM Link Experience
• Experience driving the implementation of automated manufacturing processes
• Experience in design for manufacturing / design for automation
• Experience creating and/or interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience managing project cost / schedule
• Experience working with Government customers
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams/projects across multiple locations
• Demonstrated competency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (PTC Creo Preferred)
• Proven ability to improve cost, schedule, quality and/or safety

Ability to Work Remotely:Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
