We are seeking an experienced Data Solutions and Data Integration Lead to join CISP in a hybrid work environment (2 days per week in the Arlington VA office, plus occasional client visits). The Data Solutions and Data Integration Lead is an individual contributor who leads complex data management, CRM, and data integration workstreams within larger projects, serving as a key integrator between technical work and client decision needs through structured implementation plans, executive-ready insights, and successful systems deployment.
Responsibilities
As part of project teams, the Data Solutions and Data Integration Lead will contribute to client delivery, CRM/platform implementation, data integration, and data-informed decision making by leading one or more workstreams within larger projects. They will combine rigorous data management and platform implementation with clear, decision-ready communication to help clients answer complex questions. They will work closely with project leaders and clients, mentor junior staff, and contribute to proposals and center growth.
Lead one or more data management, CRM, or data integration workstreams within larger client projects, coordinating closely with project leadership.
Translate ambiguous client needs into structured work plans, clear technical requirements, and actionable implementation plans; facilitate working sessions with clients and internal teams to align on data definitions, workflows, and deployment decisions
Lead data management and integration activities using appropriate tools and methods (e.g., data mapping, data quality review, migration planning, integration coordination, documentation review, and stakeholder interviews)
Synthesize findings across data sources, government processes, and system requirements and translate results into clear, well-structured, client-ready insights, reports, and presentations that support strategic decision making
Produce near-final report sections, requirements documentation, implementation materials, and proposal sections with limited rework; contribute to presentation content as appropriate
Communicate effectively between federal clients and technical teams in written and oral formats to ensure alignment and successful systems deployment.
Provide effective project delivery for assigned workstreams by anticipating challenges, managing task dependencies, and escalating risks to project leadership with options
Coordinate and review contributions from staff, subcontractors, and temporary hires supporting the workstream; provide task-level guidance and developmental feedback
Contribute significantly to business development activities (opportunity shaping, proposal development, and identifying logical follow-on opportunities)
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract requirements
Master’s plus 6+ years; or Bachelor’s plus 8+ years of related experience in CRM systems, data integration, data management, business analysis, systems implementation, or related client-facing delivery work
Degree in a relevant field such as information systems, business analytics, public policy, operations, management, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related interdisciplinary field; equivalent professional experience may be considered
Extensive experience with CRM systems, data integration, and data management, including using data to inform recommendations for platform development and to support client decision making
Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous client needs into structured work plans, clear technical requirements, and actionable implementation plans in a fast-paced environment
Skilled in facilitating communication between federal clients and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful systems deployment
Proven ability to collaborate across teams and organizational boundaries.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop client-ready reports, presentations, and implementation materials and present focused sections of briefings to working-level client stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project needs
Preferred Qualifications
Significant experience with enterprise CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, or similar systems
Experience with data migration, data quality, reporting, governance, user acceptance testing, deployment readiness, or post-implementation support
Experience mentoring junior staff or coordinating contributions from multiple team members, subcontractors, or temporary hires
Demonstrated experience contributing to proposals, marketing, or other business development efforts
Proficiency in Python

The salary range is: $72,153-$107,334. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
