PACS System Administrator II (IS)

Plano Campus
Work location: Texas Health Plano Campus, 6200 West Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093
May travel to Texas Health Frisco and Texas Health Allen.
Work hours: Full Time Days (Monday - Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm) for 40 hrs/week.

Here's What You Need
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field OR 4 Years Relevant experience in lieu of a degree. (required)
2 years of PACS support experience, preferably in a hospital environment (Required)
Experience utilizing modern systems management solutions such as SCCM and Synapse for application modification and/or deployment. (required)
Fuji PACS Super User or Radiology Department Preceptor a plus
What You Will Do
Provides day to day PACS operations management. Co-ordinates interface between the PACS, RIS, and Voice Recognition systems. Reporting - Provides management and statistical reporting, including ad hoc report development. Information Technology Department Duties
Provides day to day systems/application administration and support to assigned departments, clinics, and/or entities, onsite and virtually. Independently works on problems of moderate to high complexity. Coordinates with internal and external technical partners as needed. 30%
Delivers application using deployment systems, oversees upgrades and enhancements, and coordinates interfaces of applications. 30%
Complies with security, ITIL and ITS standards. Coordinates new user applications training for assigned departments, clinics, and/or entities. 15%
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of multiple systems/applications and their integration and business needs and processes. 15%
May serve as a mentor for less experienced staff. Participates in special projects and/or performs other duties as assigned.
