We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing production teams, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Train, manage, and evaluate production team members.
Assist Project Manager in preparing and updating production schedules.
Make daily schedules and plans for proper resource utilization.
Create and maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety, and accident reports.
Coordinate and monitor installation progress, organizing and directing production in accordance with the contracted scope of work.
Oversee the implementation and compliance with quality assurance and quality control programs.
Coordinate work with Project Manager, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure material is expedited and received as needed.
Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards.
Review submittals, budgets, schedules, and all other aspects necessary for a successful product order.
Maintain and foster contacts with consultants, contractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
Serve as an interface between internal clients to facilitate interdepartmental relations and program goals.
Assist with maintaining and improving existing standards and guidelines, implementing best practices.
Ensure component layouts and bill of material takeoffs comply with constructability and operability.
Participate in production and order meetings and conference calls.
Participate in engineering, design, and production review processes as requested.
Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and construction.
Coordinate installation with subcontractors and other trades to resolve critical and time-sensitive issues.
Lead or assist with investigations, including root cause analysis as needed.
Assist Project Manager in compiling information required to submit Request for Information (RFI’s) to clients.
Assist Project Manager in addressing outstanding ‘open items’ as requested by clients.
Prepare look-ahead documents and daily/weekly progress reports.
Review and monitor production labor costs versus budgets.
Develop an understanding of the client’s culture, key people, and processes.
Provide guidance and direction for estimators during the pricing process.
Manage and assist program/product layout and coordination.
Resolve inter-group conflicts, program/product order conflicts, and delays to meet production goals.
Essential Skills
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical or integrated construction industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Previous work as a Licensed Electrician or Supervisor is a plus.
Ability to prepare, manage, and accurately update production schedules.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills and familiarity with MS Teams and SharePoint.
Strong customer service skills.
Journeyman license required.
Experience in Data Center or Healthcare preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Exposure to ACCUBID and/or ConEst is a plus.
Bilingual is a plus.
Willingness to travel to develop vendor relationships and conduct incremental factory inspections.
Work Environment
Work primarily takes place at the IM facility in the Warehouse building, focusing on building wire racks for Data Centers. This role does not require traveling.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Arlington, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
