$5,000 Sign On Bonus!! This position requires travel to Gaylord, Le Sueur, and Winthrop Clinic locations as needed for staffing support. Purpose of Job This position is responsible for performing a variety of patient care related activities including assisting the providers. Duties include performing a variety of patient care activities including rooming patients, administration of medications and vaccines, specimen collection for diagnostic labs, completing prior authorizations for medication and diagnostic procedures, and patient care coordination. When performing nursing support functions 1. Escorts patients to examination room and obtains vitals and documents in EMR 2. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinicpolicies and scope of certification/licensure 3. Prepares equipment and assists providers during examination, testing andtreatment of patients 4. Performs room turn over in patient rooms between cases and at the end of day 5. Assists in arranging referrals/prior authorizations as necessary 6. Assists with patient education 7.
